Duplex Route safely on trackOctober 2011 – Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard has made major investments in its fleet of vehicles. The maximum load capacity of the basic rigs has been increased and the new trailer truck can manage longer lengths. The new trucks also have cranes so that the drivers can unload their cargoes themselves, even at the building site. This means that the trucks can be deployed more flexibly and more efficiently for the transportation of galvanised and powder coated materials on the Duplex Route. Of course, all the vehicles have the latest communication and navigation equipment so that they can be located at all times. This means that the routes can be adjusted more easily when the drivers are on the road, making transport more flexible so that Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard can provide its clients with even better services. The truck stickers have been updated and they now clearly resemble the truck rigs used by sister companies in the steel and steel processing sectors. In the months to come, Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard will make more innovations in its fleet and, where possible, further increase the load capacity.
